THE COMPETITION OF SOCIAL AND CHARITABLE PROGRAMS OF RUSSIAN AND FOREIGN BUSINESS IN RUSSIA “COMPANIES, CHANGING THE WORLD TO BETTER”
The task of the competition: to render public support to social and charitable initiatives of business from the state and from society
Dates of conducting: March-September, 2011
Participants: Russian and foreign companies, which had placed the information about their programs in Information guide of social and charitable programs of Russian and Foreign Business in Russia, 2011: ‘Business for Social Responsibility”.
Criteria of appreciation: Members of the Expert Council will evaluate the volume of social responsibility of the companies taking part in the competition according to the ten decimal scales. The summed up rating represents consolidated appreciation expressed as arithmetical mean.
Calculation of social activities of companies is made on the basis of the information given by the companies and also the information of open and charitable programs is made on the basis of:
- percentage of invested means from profit of the companies in social and charitable programs
- of being unique of elaborated and realized programmes
- readiness to giving help to population in the situation of crisis and extraordinary situations
- willing to deal with the most acute and unpopular social problems (such as helping imprisoned and people having no constant residence etc.)
The Expert Council
Consists of chiefs of the Russian and foreign business, of national business associations, of the representatives of state authorities, mass-media, noncommercial and social organizations.

During the reception the most interesting social and charitable business practices will be marked and the rewards will be given leaders of socially active companies at the presence of representatives of Russian and foreign business, foreign ambassadors to Russia, representatives of Federal authorities, deputies of the Russia Federation, State Duma, famous Russian and foreign personalities, the management of Russian and foreign mass media, represented in Russia. The decision of acknowledging the achievements will be taken by the Expert Council.
